STL Barre Studio

Transforming a St. Louis Space
into a Modern Barre Studio

In this standout South City renovation, an old restaurant was transformed into a vibrant barre studio—a place where community, wellness, and design converge. We stripped away the kitchen and dining zones to reveal an open, inviting space filled with light and energy. The architecture was adapted for movement: expansive windows, polished concrete floors, and a stripped-back material palette now frame daily workouts with ease. Precision in structural redesign and thoughtful layout planning ensured that the once commercial space now thrives as a welcoming fitness hub.

Designing for Health, Connection & Flow

Every finish, fixture, and floorboard was selected with intention—sleek metal trims meet soft acoustic panels, warm wood accents underline community gathering zones, and lighting is set to support both high-energy classes and post-workout recovery. The result is a barre studio that doesn’t just host workouts—it nurtures relationships, supports wellbeing, and serves as a neighborhood anchor. This renovation highlights our depth in adaptive-reuse projects, commercial-fitness space design, and community-oriented build-outs across St. Louis.
